Hajar Ahmed is one of HTS’s newest full-time teammates, as she celebrated her first year in April. While she has only been with HTS for a year, she has already made a significantly positive impact on the company. As a Project Manager with HTS, Hajar has had the opportunity to work directly with clients all over the US to help bring their facilities to life. She is currently supporting the operational planning of two facilities with the VCU Health System in her home state of Virginia.
In Hajar’s opinion, “The best part of HTS is the people. I’m very fortunate to be working with such passionate, hard-working, and ambitious colleagues who are always very supportive of me and my (sometimes crazy) ideas! We are a very team-based company, and when you work with such awesome people, it doesn’t feel like work at all. I believe this is one of the main things that makes HTS so unique and a great company to work for.”
Thus far, one of Hajar’s favorite memories was experiencing her first Patient Move with NYP Cohen in New York City. “I was stationed in the Command Center and got to experience how this military operation all came together in real-time. When you’re dealing with some of the sickest patients, and in this case NICU babies, stakes are high, and there’s no room for error. I was amazed by the execution, focus, and passion everyone had. When the last baby made it safely to their beautiful new room, people celebrated, cheered, and cried tears of joy for a job well done that’s been years in the making. It was one of the most fulfilling experiences I’ve had on the job thus far.”
Happy 1st HTS Anniversary, Hajar!
