We are thrilled to congratulate NewYork-Presbyterian on their successful opening of the Alexandra Cohen Hospital for Women and Newborns!

On Sunday, August 2nd, NYP leaders and staff welcomed patients into their brand new facility, moving patients over from the existing hospital and officially turning the David H. Koch Center into a 24 hour healthcare facility. The patient move was carefully coordinated between NYP and HTS, resulting in the activation of new Antepartum, Postpartum, Labor & Delivery, Newborn Nursery, and Transitional Nursery spaces within the 6-story Cohen hospital. The hospital is set on the upper portion of the 18-story Koch Center, an outpatient facility that opened its doors in 2018.

Just five days prior, NYP was recognized as the #4-ranked hospital system in the nation, up from their previous #5 spot. Amid a difficult year, this remarkable organization continues to shine. Congratulations from the HTS team!
