Last week was STRYKER week for the Alexandra Cohen Hospital for Women and Newborns as we had seventy-three patient beds, twenty wheelchairs, and over a hundred bassinets delivered to the hospital in just under three days!
Cliff and Nick from HTS’ Building Load and Logistics team were onsite to coordinate the delivery and tag equipment to be tracked in HTS’ FreightTrain software for item locations and statuses. Starting at the loading dock, equipment is unboxed, assembled and then tagged with FreightTrain’s Mover Labels which identify the equipment’s final location in the hospital where it will then be placed. This process of loading the building equipment takes significant coordination between HTS’ Building Load & Logistics Team, the medical equipment vendor, and several departments within the hospital.
All this hard work prepared us for our first Day in the Life event. It truly takes a village and we are grateful to be partnered with the best.
