Inspira Medical Center Mullica Hill enters the last phase of preparation as the hospital inches closer to the opening on December 8. With the mock licensing survey completed, the hospital staff dove into their Day in the Life scenario simulation exercise. Altogether, fifteen HTS team members attended the event to facilitate scenarios for 14 departments. The hospital staff tested and validated new workflows and operations plans, checked systems integration and equipment functionality, and evaluated staff training effectiveness.
Melanie Viquez, HTS Project Executive for Inspira Mullica Hill, recognizes that “individual commitment to a group effort is what makes everything we do at Inspira, just as in other projects, a success. I am fortunate to have a strong team with Cliff West overseeing Logistics with support from Nick Weeraman, and Diana Silva, our tireless Project Coordinator who keeps on top of all transition activities. We are also most appreciative of the positive environment at Inspira where everyone embraces change and is open to learning and trying new methods and new equipment. The staff aspires to a common goal – to bring quality patient care to the community with topnotch service. We are truly excited and look forward to the opening of this wonderful facility.”
