Stony Brook Medicine continues in its preparations to move on November 17. Last week, it tackled its 3rd Day in the Life with three departments from the MART (Medical & Research Translational Building) and nine from the hospital participating. Seventeen HTS project specialists and facilitators were on hand to support the scenario simulation exercise. The 4th and final Day in the Life takes place on November 13.
Ley Anne Merica, HTS Lead Project Manager for Stony Brook adds, “It went extremely well. We had a great turn-out from SBM and folks were excited and engaged. I am very proud of the HTS staff. They worked well together and knocked it out of the park. We are also deeply grateful for Carol Gomes’ kind words during the morning assembly where she expressed, “we wouldn’t have been able to do it without HTS”. Ms. Gomes is the Interim Chief Executive Officer and Chief Operating Officer of Stony Brook University Hospital.
