The leaders, staff, and volunteers of Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital came in full force and high spirits last week for Day in the Life, a milestone event that everyone seems to look forward to. Jonathan Miller, the hospital’s VP of Clinical Support/Facilities Planning welcomed the group before they broke into teams to commence scenario simulation. One hundred fifty (150) participants from five (5) departments spent the day playing out scenarios and the camaraderie cannot be denied. The outcome? Over two hundred issues identified with enough time to work on them and resolve before the hospital opens to the public.

At the conclusion of the day, Henry Mayo’s CEO, Roger Seaver gave a debrief and HTS handed out awards to some outstanding participants. What an amazing day!
