Intermountain Utah Valley Hospital in Provo, Utah welcomed its patients to the brand new replacement hospital, the Pedersen Tower. The patient-centered project started construction in 2015 and culminated with the patient move and activation on Sunday, January 27. Six months of preparation came into flawless fruition with a smooth move sequence from the old to the new building.

Now the tallest building in Utah County, the 12-story Pedersen Tower is geared to meet the needs of its residents and the adjoining communities, even more so with Utah County’s population expected to grow to 1.2 million in 2050.

We are proud of the work of our project managers, Erin Clark and Melanie Viquez, and Project Coordinator Kim King who were the epitome of “cool and collected” as they worked through their checklists. With the support of our team of specialists and coordinators, the move was completed 15 minutes ahead of schedule.

Congratulations to the Intermountain leadership and staff. We are honored to be a part of your historic journey. Cheers!
