Cindy Smith, HTS Project Manager and Kim King, Project Coordinator recently facilitated Fire Life and Safety and New Facility Orientation for the staff of our newest client, Fort Yuma Health Care Center.  The future 76,000-square foot facility in Winterhaven, CA will serve the Quechan and Cocopah tribes. It is designed to emphasize staff collaboration and integration of services to support the Chronic Care model with one of the two sub-clinics of the Primary Care department adopting a wellness-specific care oriented mission.

Kim and Cindy included a presentation with a follow-up quiz and a building tour that displayed signage including those for evacuation and med-gas shut off valves, among others. Fort Yuma is expected to open early summer of this year.
