HTS was recently at Providence Tarzana Medical Center to commence transition planning services for its expansion project. Tarzana is adding a new six-story patient wing with 190 private rooms. The HTS team comprising of Kelly Guzman, Project Director, Becky Sales, Lead Project Manager, Patrick Moore, Project Manager, and Brandon Sanchez, Project Coordinator visited departments that will be impacted by the construction.  They looked at the current space and usage, and the proposed interim solutions as the departments go through multiple construction phases. HTS also shared insights from past experiences and an overview of the Critical Task Log  (CTL). The CTL will be a useful tool for the hospital leaders as they strategize during the months leading to activation.

The day at Tarzana was an opportune time to meet the staff, and gain an in-depth understanding of the project. HTS looks forward to future meetings when tools and resources will be customized as construction moves forward.
