On November 4, 2017, the HTS team joined over 500 other participants in “Walk the Realm” at the 9th Annual Walk for Bleeding Disorders at Griffith Park in Los Angeles. The team spent the morning visiting various booths and listening to speakers, among them, California Senator Anthony Portantino who gave a very spirited speech. Participants proudly held red pinwheels and balloons to show their united commitment to the bleeding orders community as they completed the 5K walk around the park. With the generous support of family, friends, and colleagues, HTS raised nearly $1600 towards the cause. The Hemophilia Foundation exceeded its goal with the $60,000 raised with the walk. The money will go towards additional advocacy events, and contributions to Camp Blood Brothers and Sisters, a summer camp serving children with bleeding disorders. Heartfelt thanks to all who attended and graciously donated to the cause.
