This past week, the HTS project team at Intermountain Utah Valley Hospital (IUVH) had the remarkable opportunity to witness the historical solar eclipse in Provo, Utah. Taking a break from their busy meeting schedule, Project Managers Erin Clark and Melanie Viquez stepped outside to enjoy the view. In addition to their regularly scheduled Transition Committees meetings, the team began the facilitation of Phase One workflow, which included facility-wide Code Response and ED – Interventional Platform. Each phase of workflow typically includes 2-4 topics that the facility and HTS have identified ahead of time. After meetings, HTS will compile the requested deliverables and then present them to IUVH during their next visit.
Finishing their week of on a high note, the team hiked “The Y”, which represents BYU on the side of a mountain about a mile up with a few members of the HTS team. The team looks forward to next month’s visit as they continue to work with IUVH committees and leadership to prepare for building activation in Fall 2018.
