HTS’s Executive Director of Operations, Janet Dalton recently returned from the annual 2016 Planning, Design and Construction (PDC) Summit.

Janet talked about PDC shortly after the conclusion of the conference saying, “The ASHE Conference in San Diego (March 21-23) was attended by over 3,200 senior leaders in healthcare design, care delivery and construction.  This year’s theme was the Triple Aim, a three-pronged framework for hospital performance excellence. Sessions supported the three aims, Better Patient Experiences, Reduced Costs, and Improved Population Health.

“Besides the sunny San Diego weather,” Janet says, “I enjoyed networking with colleagues and new contacts to discover new leads, and spread the word about HTS and its services.”

The PDC is a dynamic industry event hosted by a trusted network of not-for-profit organizations which includes The American Institute of Architects, The American College of Healthcare Architects, The American Society for Healthcare Engineering, The American Hospital Association, and FGI. Its integrated audience of C-level, design, construction, and operations professionals, come together yearly to share perspectives on optimizing healing environments. PDC presents thought-provoking research and presentations focusing on cross-team collaboration, PDC sustainability, designing for future generations, technology integration, and more.

It is noteworthy that 100% of conference revenue is reinvested into the mission of optimizing the physical environment.
